Details

Equimec Plus Tape is used to treat roundworm, tapeworm and bots in horses. Recommended for the treatment and control of roundworms (including arterial larval stages of Strongylus vulgaris and benzimidazole-resistant small strongyles), tapeworms, bots and skin lesions (summer sores) caused by Habronama and Draschia spp. and Onchocerca spp. (cutaneous onchocerciasis). Safe to use, this treatment is easy to administer with a simple syringe that delivers paste to your horse orally.


Care Instructions

Harmful if swallowed. Will irritate the eyes and skin. Avoid contact with eyes and skin. If product in eyes, wash it out immediately with water. Wash hands after use.


Storage Instructions

Store below 30°C (room temperature) away from light.


Directions of Use

Turn the dosage control knob to coincide with the horse's bodyweight. Insert the syringe into the side of the horse's mouth in the gap between the front and back teeth. Press the plunger to the chosen dosage, depositing the medication on the rear of the tongue. Immediately raise horse's head for a few seconds after dosing to ensure the full dose has been swallowed.
