Caribu Mesh Horse Eye Covers

• We make our eye covers larger than the eye holes. They are not designed to be pushed through the eye hole. They sit on the outside of the hood and sit over the eye. This ensures that they don't interfere with the eye at all, and there is no rough surface to scratch the face. You need to sew around the outer binding of the eye cover, to attach to your horse rug.

• Each eye cover is approx 17cm in diameter.

• Caribu use ballistic nylon mesh which is very similar in weave to your window fly screen, but significantly stronger. It holds its shape (away from the eye) very well and is extremely hard to tear.

• Sold in pairs.

• A wonderful option to have a pair of these Caribu mesh eye covers on hand in the tackroom should you need to apply to your Caribu hoods for extra protection especially in the warmer months to deter those flying and bothersome insects.

Caribu Fly Mesh Bubble Eye covers are designed to be used with any of the Caribu hoods across our various designs.Offered as an optional extra, for those that need that extra protection for their horse's eyes, our eye covers are designed to be sewn on over and around the existing eye hole.Constructed from a firm yet fine plastic mesh, the eyes are designed to sit well out from the horses eye and hold their bubble shape.Please note that we do not attach the eye covers for you. You will need to arrange to have them sewn/attached yourself on a heavy duty sewing machine.
